You see, I started my comedy journey right here in California. I mean, where else would a Barbie start a new career, right? So, I’m in Moreno Valley, and I’m thinking, “What can I joke about here?” I mean, it’s not exactly Hollywood, but it’s got its charm.
First off, the hiking trails in Box Springs Mountain Reserve. They call it a “reserve,” but honestly, I felt like I needed to reserve some energy just to climb those hills. I was hiking like I was auditioning for Survivor: Barbie Edition. And let’s not even talk about the snakes! I swear, I saw one that looked more fashionable than I did.
Speaking of fashion, Moreno Valley Mall is quite the hotspot. You know you’re in California when you see people shopping like it’s a competitive sport. I went there once and got lost in a shoe store. But you know what’s truly an adventure? Sycamore Canyon Wilderness Park. I went for a nature walk, and I felt like I was in an episode of “Survivor: Barbie’s Edition” again. Next stop was Nashville, Tennessee, the home of country music. I decided to try my hand at singing, and let’s just say I might need to stick to comedy. I sang “Jolene” at a karaoke bar, and the crowd’s reaction? Well, let’s just say they thought I was a malfunctioning Barbie doll. I had to switch back to comedy real quick.
Now, let’s talk about the windy city, Chicago! I tried the famous deep-dish pizza, and I have to admit, I was a bit intimidated.
