Ladies and gentlemen, you know, I’ve been traveling around, and I ended up in this place called College Station, Texas. They call themselves “Aggies.” Now, I had to ask, what’s an Aggie? Is it like a fancy name for a farmer? Turns out, they’re the pride of Texas A&M University!
I gotta say, these Aggies, they’re a unique bunch. I mean, they take their school spirit to a whole new level. Everywhere you look, it’s maroon, maroon, and more maroon. Seriously, I haven’t seen this much maroon since…well, ever!
But hey, I admire their dedication. They say, “Gig ’em!” I’m still trying to figure out what exactly we’re gigging, but hey, I’m all in! Maybe it’s all those cowboy boots they wear. I mean, you know you’re in College Station when you see more cowboy boots than regular shoes. It’s like a fashion statement here!
Now, the traffic on game day? It’s like trying to navigate a maze made of pickup trucks. I’m just glad I have my pink convertible. It stands out in a sea of maroon, let me tell you!
And speaking of games, these Aggies sure love their football. I’ve never seen a group of people so passionate about a sport. They tailgate like it’s an Olympic event. The BBQ, the music, the camaraderie—it’s like a Texas-sized party!
But here’s the thing, I think they might be taking the 12th Man thing a bit too literally. I mean, there’s only 11 players on the field, but you’d think the entire stadium is ready to suit up and play. It’s all in good fun, though.
You know, I did a little research, and I found out they have this tradition called “Midnight Yell.” They gather at midnight before a big game and yell, and yell, and yell. Now, that’s some serious dedication. I’m used to late-night fashion shows, not late-night yelling sessions!
